Thunder Nation, we've got a big one to celebrate! TSA's own Corinne had an electric weekend in San Antonio at the SA City Copa Primavera Tournament (May 8–9), competing with her U10 Girls team, Stellar Lightning — and they did not come to play around.

They came to win.

The team rolled through pool play with pure fire: a dominant 6–1 opener, a gritty 1–1 tie showing they could weather anything, and a shutout 4–0 victory to close it out. By the time the final whistle blew in the championship match, Stellar Lightning had battled all the way to a 5–5 deadlock — setting the stage for the most nerve-wracking moment in soccer: penalty kicks. Five shots. Four saves. Champions.

🏆 Stellar Lightning won the final 5–4 in PKs and took home the tournament title. And according to Corinne, the ending wasn't a foregone conclusion:

"We honestly thought we were about to lose, but we kept fighting."

That's exactly the kind of grit that turns good athletes into great ones. The ability to stay in the fight even when the outcome looks bleak and then surprise yourself on the other side of it.

Congratulations, Corinne and the entire Stellar Lightning squad! The Herd is loud for you! ⚡🌩️
