Thunder Nation, it’s time to rally.

We always tell our athletes that "the work you put in today builds the stage you stand on tomorrow." Today, one of our own is proving just how big that stage can be.

We are incredibly proud to announce that TSA Guide Graham Spraker has been officially selected to represent Great Britain in the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC).

When the tournament kicks off this March, Graham will be competing against the absolute best players on the planet—and he’s taking the TSA spirit with him.

A Legacy of Excellence

For our TSA parents and students, Graham is a familiar face—a mentor who knows what it takes to grind through the minor leagues and reach the elite levels of professional baseball. But on the international stage, he is known as a high-stakes "clutch" performer.

This is Graham’s second selection to the Great Britain roster, and for good reason. In the 2023 World Baseball Classic, Graham was the hero on the mound during Great Britain’s historic 7-5 victory over Colombia. He threw nearly three scoreless innings, earning the win in what remains the most significant victory in British baseball history. That performance didn't just win a game; it secured Great Britain's automatic qualification for this 2026 tournament.

Why This Matters for TSA

Graham’s journey is the ultimate blueprint for our TSA athletes. From being a standout in college to being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays and later pitching in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, Graham has seen it all. He has won the Arizona Fall League Reliever of the Year and even pitched in a professional no-hitter.

But what makes Graham special to us isn't just his 95-mph fastball or his professional resume—it’s the fact that he chooses to invest his time back into the next generation here at Thunder Sports Academy. When our players work with Graham, they aren't just getting instruction from a coach; they are learning from a world-class competitor who is currently preparing to face MLB superstars.

Let’s Rally Behind Him!

The World Baseball Classic is the pinnacle of international baseball. This March, as Graham puts on that Great Britain jersey and steps onto the mound in front of thousands of fans (and millions watching at home), we want him to feel the support of the Thunder Nation behind him.

To our students: Watch Graham this March. See how he carries himself. See the focus in his eyes when the bases are loaded. That is the "Thunder Way" in action on a global scale.

To our parents: Join us in celebrating this incredible achievement. It’s not every day your child’s coach is called up to represent a nation on the world stage.

Graham, we are so proud to have you in our dugout. Now go out there and show the world what Thunder is all about!
